I first met my husband the night he took me to a Patty Griffin concert on a blind date. He was truly the kindest person I had ever come across and so, I decided it was worth a second date. We were married in 2011 and anxiously welcomed our son Griffin to the family. Our second son Avett was born in November of 2012 in Charleston, South Carolina while Chad was attending Medical University of South Carolina for his graduate work. We love The South and will always cherish the time spent there and the friends that we made. Our daughter Jane was born in August of 2015 in Salt Lake City. Currently, we live in Salt Lake City while Chad works as an Occupational Therapist for the University of Utah. I love being a stay at home mama to our three kids and in my spare time (whenever that is) I document our adventures here. My hope for this blog is to bring us closer to family and friends wherever they may be, and to serve as a little reminder for myself- to appreciate every moment, even the hard ones.
