What better way to spend the holiday than at the beach with good friends!  Here's a few shots from our day.  Happy Fourth y'all.

The Princess and the Sheriff.

Here we have Princess Sophia and Sheriff Woody.  Heaven forbid the sheriff has to wash his uniform.  That gets interesting.  And I'll cherish these days forever.  When Woody jammies and bubbles were enough to make the world seem absolutely perfect.

More Asheville.

Last weekend we drove up to Asheville again to visit our friends Wes, Jenny and Will.  I think it's become a March Madness tradition.  Yes, I do fill out a bracket.  Yes, my bracket does beat out Chad's.  We all went to the park Saturday morning for some fishing and soccer.  The men did their basketball thing while Jenny and I found a yoga class and cruised around downtown.  The little boys have become great friends and it's so much fun to watch them play together.  Griff and Will are only 2 days apart.  Jenny and I were pregnant together back in Utah before we all up and moved to the south.  While visiting, we let the boys camp out on little cots when it was time for sleep.  There was a lot of giggling involved but they did surprisingly well for being outside of their own cribs.  Griff keeps saying, "will is my best buddy".  We adore our friends and I never tire of Asheville.

goodbye summer.

It's October, i've purchased my pumpkins and have actually worn pants twice.  we still have 80 degree weather here in Charleston and even though you wouldn't know it, i guess summer is over.  I'm not wanting to let it all go.  This one was particularly amazing, spending most of our weekends at the beach, nobody was pregnant, and we had some of our best friends come to visit.  pj and lyds- time to move here.  or at least buy a beach condo, no?  goodbye summer.  When next we meet, Chad will be graduating and i guess that is something to celebrate!
